Isaiah
40:30: “A voice of
one calling: “In the wilderness prepare the way for the Lord;
make straight in the desert a
highway for our God.”
Our God does not walk crooked paths. We often do.
Now, if we want to walk with the Lord we have to straighten our paths. He
neither proud, nor suffers from complex of inferiority. Neither should we.
Christian walk demands changes on our behalf. We cannot live with one foot in
the world and with the other in the kingdom of God. God is not a hypocrite and
we cannot be if we expect to please him. Let us prepare the way for Jesus to
come.
