Sealed with the Holy Spirit

Ephesians 1:13-14: “And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.”

For ages the saints have been waiting for God to pour his Holy Spirit into the land. Finally, it has become a reality in Christ. After resurrection He sent the Holy Ghost to the first disciples and the were baptized in the spirit on the day of Pentecost. This promise now belongs to anyone who is converted to Christianity. You can have God Himself inside of you. What a promise and privilege to be a sanctuary of the living God. It shows that you are his property and the evil one cannot touch you.
