Walk in Love

And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour” Ephesians 5:1.

You may think that a good Christian is the one who knows his Bible very well. If that’s how you think I can disappoint you, because that’s not true. Pharisees knew even the place where Christ was to be born, yet they wanted Him dead. Love is the ultimate test of our Christianity. Even Jesus said that from our love to one another the world will know that we are His disciples.

Speak Truth in Love

“…but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ...“ Ephesians 4:15.

Love and truth are the key pillars in the teaching of Christ. Truth was the foundation of the Old Testament and teaching of Moses, but understanding of everlasting and unconditional love of God came to us through revelation that Jesus gave us. Bible teaches us not to like, but always speak the truth, yet the spirit in which we have to do it is based on love. Otherwise, we would simply be talking condemnation, bitter criticism or judgment to one another, which is not what God wants us to do.

Love of Christ Which Passes Knowledge

“…to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of GodEphesians 3:19

Love of Christ is far more powerful than any other power in this world. It can melt the toughest and hardest hearts. The most evil men give up their evil ways in the face of Jesus who loves unconditionally. The world turned their backs to Christ, rejected Him, spat on Him, yet the last words that came out of Jesus before His death were: “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” Of course, not everybody kneels before Him, but His hands are still stretched towards them. He is ready to forgive, accept and make anybody part of Heavenly family. Let’s embrace His love.
