“Therefore be imitators of God as dear children” Ephesians 5:1.
Despite
the fact imitation sounds unnatural; all children learn things from their
parents by imitating them. This is how you learn the language, what is good and
bad, what you should do and what shouldn’t and many more. The same can be said
about learning from God our Father. You imitate Him. You start by studying how
He thinks and adopting His way of thinking, then you go on to His speaking and
you copy that too. You end up by making His habits your habits and so transform
with all of your behavior.
