Unsearchable Riches of Christ

“To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ…” Ephesians 3:8

In the first and second chapters of Ephesians Paul clearly showed us the riches of Christ. He showed us full scope of redemption. He gave us all possible blessings, cleansed us with His blood, adopted us, accepted us in Him, forgave our sins, gave us wisdom and prudence through Him, gave us inheritance, sealed us with His Holy Spirit, seated us in Heavenly places with Him and many more…Wow! He deserves all the glory for that.

No more strangers or foreigners

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God…Ephesians 2:19

This is unbelievable news! Well, you have to believe it though. We are God’s sons and daughters. Satan is no longer our father. No more! God has become Father to us. Imagine, you have the same status in God’s eyes as: Abraham, Moses, Peter, Paul and other saints. We are all brothers and sisters now with the saints of Old and New Testaments. And all that is because Jesus sacrificed Himself. Embrace His sacrifice, enjoy your rights as a member of God’s family, thank Him for the gift of eternal life and share it with others.

Christ is our peace

“For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation…” Ephesians 2:14

There was a wall between God and humanity. Nobody could pass it. We were enemies with Him. He could not reach us with His love, because the wall would not allow it. The wall was sin.

However, Christ came and tore the wall down. He took the sin on Himself and redeemed us. There are no more walls and you can run to God. You can feel peace now. This is the consequence of redemption. You do not need to search for peace outside or by means of chemical substance. If you are redeemed He lives inside of you and you can be at peace with God, yourself and others.

Jesus took our transgressions pain and diseases

Isaiah 53:4-5: “Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.”

The world is suffering from its’ sins, pain and diseases. It is all part of Adam’s and Eve rebellion against God in the Garden of Eden. The world has been sold to slavery. However, Jesus took upon himself the entire curse that has been on our shoulders and put on his own. He took our punishment so that we could live free from all the above mentioned things. I am so grateful to God for that. He has redeemed me. I am free from sin in Christ. I believe that. He took my pain too. If you are in pain remember that Jesus paid for your pain so that you could be free. Trust him for that. He also took on himself all of your diseases. Very few Christians believe that is part of redemption. It is. Read all of the chapter of Isaiah 53 and you will see it for yourself. Glory to God!
